I am not new to the world of blogging… I started a craft blog a few years ago that has been quite popular to my surprise. Who would of though someone would ever want to look at the stuff I make? I have also realized how many people have really been able to use the information I had to share! I live on the south of of beautiful Whidbey Island Washington (about 30 miles north of Seattle, WA). I am a mama of 3 young kiddos who loves to spend her summer weekends garage selling!
This blog has been set up as a continuation on what I have been doing for a local classifieds groups for the past few years. Each Friday I post lists of all the local advertised sales from the local newspapers, The Market Place, various web groups, Whidbey Islands Free Classifieds & Craigslist. I sort them all out by general areas to help you most efficiently get to all the good sales! With gas jumping to nearly $4.50 a gallon last summer garage selling has become very popular again, but can be pricey if unplanned!
Though right now this is just for posting the local ads I also plan on sharing tips for planning/having garage sales as well as how to get the most for your money AND I will invite blog readers to share what they find!
If you have any questions, things to share or suggestions of something you would like to see on the blog please email me. Please do not be short if I run late or miss weekends. I make absolutely no money off of this & with 3 young kids stuff happens! I do try to get it posted every weekend though!

By the time you post the gsales on friday the sales have already started. Is there anyway you can post the sales Thusday night. Then we will have them first thing Fri. Morning.
I try, but I have 4 young kids including a 6m old so it just doesn’t happen a lot of times. Next summer it should be better, but I am going to try to get them up sooner the next few weeks.
